Blogging, as many can attest, can become addictive – if not for many, for some. Writing can take a lot of energy and exhaust you, and to prevent it, here are some ways to take a break from blogging, and best of all, these breaks are productive. A lot of people might say that these aren’t really breaks, but it does pause the routine and keep you motivated.

Always update and upgrade the template.
Give a twist to your site’s template. Doing this will add more flavor and style to your site.

Constantly re-arrange the placement of the adverts.
Come up with new and various way to position your ads. Position them in places where they are sure to be readily spotted. Refashion the ads’ background and link color. Make those archaic advertisements more beckoning.

Assess your success.
Give importance to the feedbacks your site gets from readers and sponsors alike. Get a real photo of your site’s hike. Examine your status and then figure out exactly where your true patrons come from.

Develop an avatar in your own site.
With all the hustle and bustle of blogging, one thing you should know is that you may now develop an avatar right in your own site. Do a quick research on widgets – you’ll learn a whole lot!

Refer to the 100 “Gurus” once in a while.
Figure out what the top sites are up to. Scan through their donation styles, check the templates as well as the boasting numbers. There’s so much stuff still available to apprentices and so you can always come out with insights that these 100 have eluded to catch. Even the gurus have their waterloos.

Establish rapport with other blogs
Bloggers like it when other people take the time out and place comments on their blogs. Leaving comments on sites relevant to your subject of facility is truly a great idea, especially since relationships can become symbiotic. Have a healthy “working” relationships with fellow bloggers.

Surf around.
Surfing around other sites can become a vehicle to finding subjects you are interested to write about. Establish a list and call it your ‘To blog’ list. Complete some exploration on items that you will be blogging about. There is always something new to discover.

Started a blog yet? There are actually millions and millions of blogs created by now but most of these bloggers just set them up and then literally forget about them over time. Some just abandon their blogs even only after a sprinkle of entries. This is to say that these bloggers merely have no clear blogging objectives. They simply started a blog but perhaps because they thought they could not earn from it anyway, they just stopped.

Even if you understand the concept that there is not money in short term blogging, the key, really, is time management and organization. A blogger should be organized so that he or she can consistently churn up great blog entries. Below are tips related to blogging time management:

Establish a file for blog ideas

Create a file in your computer where you will write down all your blog ideas. Whenever you come across any possible topic or idea for your blog, include it immediately in that file. This is also good since all of the ideas can just be found in one place and you can easily access it.

Should you have queries about any of your blogging topics (e.g. those that begin with the basic W’s – who, what, why, where and when – plus the H – how), take note of those and then when you already have access to your file, compare them with your established questions. You may be inspired to come up with topics.

You can also try reading other people’s blogs. With possibly billions of blogs out there, you have endless choices of whose blog to read. If you think a certain blog’s arguments and facts weren’t complete, you could write about your own additional data about that particular topic in your blog. Also, if you think you have something to say about a particular blog’s topic, you may want to discuss it in your own blog.

Moreover, if you don’t have a laptop and you don’t easily get access to a computer, you could just bring along a notebook wherein you can write down possible topics and ideas that come to mind.

Write as many posts as possible at a time

These posts need not be published right away nor should they be perfectly written. Just so you could easily save your ideas and topics, write posts and then save them as drafts in the meantime. When you have more time in your hands, you could just go back and polish your entries before you finally publish them for the whole world to read.

Record some of your blog posts

This is especially true for business bloggers who seem to always be on the go. If you have a handy digital recorder or if, for instance, your cellular phone has a voice recorder function, you could just record your thoughts and ideas. Talk about them freely and then when you already have the time to sit and blog about your ideas, you could just play back your audio file.

Value the opinions of other bloggers

The blogging community is somehow “close knit” – bloggers, more often than not, help out other bloggers. If you need help, you could solicit the opinions of other bloggers, especially those that touch the same topics as you do. You could ask them to leave comments and feedback. Moreover, if there are times when you can’t blog (perhaps because of a long business trip), you could ask one of your blogger friends to fill in your shoes in the meantime.

Without meaning to sound negative, blogging also needs to be structured if one has to maintain its viability and sustainability:

1. Set up an RSS account.

Like anything that helps to systematize your work, set up an account. This reader account allows you to go on blogging without spending so much time going through all the details. This way you have some time to spare for the other facets of your lifestyle.

2. Organize and systematize.

Consider your personality as you organize and systematize. No one can tell you how to go about it. However, those who have gone through this can direct your attention to some things you can consider. Have a space for the things you must act on immediately; others can guide you to your business dealings and other data you alone can give weight as to impact and relevance to your blogging endeavor.

3. Do not blog right away; answer e-mails first.

You may decide to communicate with co-bloggers before you finally go on with the day’s blogging marathon. What is important is that you have set the tone of your task for the day.

4. Patronize your own blogs before you visit other sites.

The wonder of written word is precisely its words, mainly the points of view. Take comfort that you have contributed to this. So patronize your own blogs such that you comment on it yourself if you feel like it. Only then do you roam around blogosphere to read what others have done.

5. Plan, plan, plan what to post.

One need not be an expert to know for himself that planning is the key to one’s success whatever the task is. It goes without saying that it is good to spend more time with planning to come up with well thought of ideas and spend less time in posting it

6. Have a buzzer or alarm clock to stop you from spending more time than needed.

While it is good to write as much, there is a tendency to spend more time in one site than time allotted for it. To avoid this, have a buzzer or alarm clock to remind you when you overdo or overstay.

7. Zero in on what must be done.

Ultimately what matters is you get things done. Zero in on the most important down to what can wait.

The aforementioned are just a few of the hands-on experiences of a fellow blogger who learned from experience. Feel free to add or subtract as your experience may be different from mine. What matters is that after this break you go back to blogging refreshed!

Are you a blogger? You should know – first and foremost – that blogging is no longer limited to being “personal” online journals. These days, blogging is now considered a money making venture. In fact, more and more bloggers now consider their craft as a good source of additional income.

The onset of the blogosphere means that additional data will be supplemented to the world of knowledge. However, as mentioned earlier, it now also is a means to augment one’s income. This article will focus more on the latter rather than the former. You will soon agree that this is more productive.

Consider the following suggestions:

1. Put a stamp of uniqueness on your blog. Remember that because the Internet is accessible by virtually anybody, it is very possible as well that people get to copy your blog and the contents of your blog down to the last period and comma. Hence, have a style of your own. Embed as many opinions, personal stories and true to life anecdotes – soon enough it would be difficult for the plagiarizers to copy your work because they know it would already look too obvious that they merely get the content from someone else.

2. Remember that if people benefit from your knowledge, they will keep on visiting your site again and again. Hence, share as much information and data as possible.

3. There is money just by displaying sponsored links and employing Adsense. It is good strategy to cite sponsors of affiliate products. Once this registers to the readers it is possible they buy the products so you earn some commission. Take this simple invitation: “Money can be earned through Adsense.” This ad is accepted by Google. When readers click this, it spells money to the blogger. The idea is that Google pays every time a reader agrees.

4. Write with the aim to get sponsors or to be paid as blogger. This is another instance when blogging means money since you can post advertisements in your own blogs. Some advertisers need bloggers to increase advertisement of their products thereby increase their sales. Payment is relative for it is determined by your work. In some instances when the advertisement is excellent it can generate thousands of dollars. It is not difficult to look for sites which need bloggers to write advertisements. What is more challenging is if you have one material that ticks? When advertisers read this then offers will just come your way.

Thus, it has to be acknowledged that while blogging is a mental exercise it is also a financial opportunity. Blogging spells money.

Congratulations for those taking on a new, exciting endeavor and kudos for becoming a fellow blogger. At this point the experience might still be too new to be worried about being an expert. What is of the utmost importance is that you want to blog. Hence, your immediate move is maximum visibility; build a good reputation and credibility as well as to have that feeling of productivity. You can begin with any idea that comes to your mind. Gradually try to delve into more exciting and unique points of view. This way, if you wish at some point to market your ideas it will come as an inevitable consequence to a job well done.

Below are techniques, methods and tips that you may want to consider in order for you to become a competent blogger:

<u1:p></u1:p>One: Why have you decided to blog? This is tantamount to asking why after all this time you plunged blogging, why? Are you blogging because you have time to spare or are you doing it for possible market audience? Take the cue from those who have blogged and their reasons. They usually do this because they want to declare their expertise, they want to keep in constant touch with their clients, they want to put their articles out in the global market of ideas, they want to express their thoughts (whether good or bad) and they want to carve out their online personality.

<u1:p></u1:p>Two: Now that you have made up your mind to blog, blog regularly and know how to go about blogging and improving along the way. Since you are a beginner, remember the maxim: “Practice makes perfect”. Before long, you will get the hang of it and pretty soon, perfect it. Your postings may be short but they should be relevant to your objective. Occasionally you find bloggers who get information from other websites – in an effort to keep their visitors providing varied data. A good thing about this is that it makes a blogger’s job easy. The disadvantage of this, however, is that it can’t help establish a blogger’s expertise or reputation. Hence, it is advisable to offer both in order to maintain a healthy balance.

<u1:p></u1:p>Three: Invite visitors to your blogs. This can be a good way to generate traffic. It takes creativity and resourcefulness to entice readers to your online journal. One of these effective ways is to give them the feeling that both of you are talking about the same things and at least your keywords are familiar to both of you. Ergo, whenever you update your blog, don’t forget to inform your visitors that they are welcome to read and even click on as many related links in your blog as possible.

<u1:p></u1:p>Four: Write articles that could confirm that you are an “expert” in your chosen market or industry. As much as possible, keep your articles original, informative and engaging. The aforementioned features guarantee that readers will gout of their way to look for your kind of blogging.

<u1:p></u1:p>Five: Make sure your work is recorded and acknowledged. This, in order for you to optimize exposure to as many possible clients or readers. Open the search engine of your choice and it will surely return results of various locations where you can submit your articles.

<u1:p></u1:p>Six: Subscription to your blog should be made easy. By easy it means – implied simple command. This can be made possible by either supplying a simple form patterned from Feedblitz.com or from Feedburner.com. Learn more about the power of Rss (Really Simple Syndication) which can let subscribers receive updates or feeds as soon as new entries are sent.

<u1:p></u1:p>Seven: Make your keywords the “Magic Words.” Keywords play crucial roles in greatly improving your blogging capability and therefore acceptance from co-bloggers. Hitting and using the right words will go a long way!

<u1:p></u1:p>Eight: Lastly, you need to analyze and research on your chosen business or market. This calls the need for analysis answering what is wanted and needed. Remember that the more targeted you are, the more chances you have to facilitate the needed traffic.

<u1:p></u1:p>Eventually however, no amount of urging will do you good if you do not actually start blogging. The journey actually begins with your first blog and another blog and another.

Have you ever created your own blog? Blog reveals the personality of the blogger. Blogs become more interesting to read when people try to express their passion for a topic. Readers find these types as new readings that offer new insights to them. Blog writing is not much into how well a person can write but more of how one can capture the interest of readers. Topics that reveal a personal passion for a topic are most likely to catch reader’s interest.

It is necessary that your blog can be easily searched by readers through the use of search engine. It is also important that your blog can be easily read once your web page has been found. For your blog to be interesting and attract readers here are some tips that you should remember as you create your own blog:

Area of Interest

Think of a topic that is within your area of interest. You may not necessarily be an expert to the topic but at least you should be knowledgeable about it. This will allow you to stay focus and make update of your postings.

Make your readers know you

Allow your readers to know you better. It is not necessary to write down your personal information but find a way to let your readers know where you are coming from and what you intend to impart. Your name may be memorable to your readers but your information counts more and that they are reliable. It’s more of building a bond between you and your readers.

Style to be used

You need to determine after choosing your blog topic and introducing yourself, the style you would use in writing your blogs. There are several styles that others use as they present their blog. Some prefer using their blog as a board for story telling, a board to educate readers on a particular topic or a discussion forum on how others feel about the topic as posted. While others try to blend their styles. Whichever your readers would like it written, please remember that they would definitely expect similar topic of interest on their next visit. There is also a need for you to make your topic worth reading. One would not be that interested to keep on checking your blog if all you have to account is your daily blog. You need to write something valuable for readers to learn in the end.

Write regularly

Ensure that you write regularly. Where some would start on their blog for a few days and later stop, others post on their blog as a daily obligation. Creating a blog is a responsibility. If you are committed in creating a blog it should be taken as a long-term thing. You should realize that there might be readers looking forward for your new postings. It is advisable to do your daily blog or if not postings can be done at least two or three days a week. Your readers visit to your blog website also allows to show the search engine rankings.

Use website links

You may include link of another person’s web page or story to add relevance and reliability of your posts. This will serve as reference. This would allow readers to trust your writings and find out if your information and views are valid. You may also have to link your previous topics if your current topic has made reference to your previously written posts. Link your email signatures and forum signatures if necessary, to represent your rights or ownership to the topic.

So think about if you are ready for a blog and know your commitments to yourself and readers. When you have finally decided to create one, work on it and you are glad to see the big positive turn out to you as a person and to your readers as well.

That’s almost 7300 blogs that are born every hour, even when you’re sleeping. That’s not only today, but tomorrow as well, and then again the next day, and it never stops.

By the time you chose your domain, start your blog and start posting, millions of other blogs made their way in. So the question people are asking, “Why should I read YOUR blog and not the other new 1.2 million blogs created just last week?” To me, this sounds like an honest question, so what’s your answer?

Be Unique
Are you going to be just another blog that talks about online advertising? Or maybe the next blog that will be talking about video games? There’s plenty of established blogs that are doing that already and there’s no reason for them to switch from their regular readings to yours.

The key to everything, and especially to blogs is to make your writings personal and unique. Making it personal means a lot, and it’s not something you can fix in 2 minutes. Adding a personal touch is something that is embedded in your blog entirely. The way you make your titles, the tone of your posts, the theme that you are using, the way you are responding to your comments, etc…You and your blog must blend in perfect harmony.

It is the only viable method to increase your readership and your audience. Why? Because you are unique. Everyone can talk about the latest gadgets and lay out the specs, but can they do it the way you do? If you are someone funny in life, incorporate humor, if you are a fan of movies, relate your blog posts to movies…just relate your blog to you and what you do!

You may be maintaining a blog on your website – however, you need the Technorati search engine so you can take advantage of huge traffic volume and potential customers. Technorati is completely free and quite easy to use, which will make implementing it a stress-free experience.

This search engine was made specifically for use by bloggers. A blogger can use it to use pertinent keywords to tag blog posts. In turn, when someone looks for those keywords on the Internet, your content will crop up in the search results. Technorati allows you to maintain complete control over the location of your content on the website. To get the content indexed, there is a minimal waiting period.

The website should have three categories. Your first category is labeled Blog Posts which allows you to search for posts with the search term. The second is called Tags, so you can search for different posts which have been tagged with the search term. The last category is dubbed Blog Directory, so you can find individual blogs that have been tagged with the search term.

To start off, you have to sign up for a free account from the Technorati website. This does not take long and afterwards, you can submit all the posts of your own blog to Technorati. Eventually, other Technorati users might tag your blog as one of their favorites. That is the crucial step.

Getting people to provide links to your blog so you show up on their list of favorites will make your ranking go up. In turn, your site will pose higher traffic volume as well. There is so much free traffic out there just waiting to be contacted – you just need to boost your rankings.

When you add new blog posts, you should tag it via a special link. This allows Technorati to place your content into categories so that similar posts will have the same tag, the most recent being the first from the top. If an Internet user encodes the keyword phrase you used as post tag into the search box, the Technorati website will show your blog post in the results pages.

It is recommended to limit tags to 10 at the most, and use the smallest type of font as well as anchor text to save on space.

You should employ tags that are relevant to your post so that you do not post unrelated topics that no one is interested in anyway.

ou should also include the link that will allow people to add you to their Favorites list in your blog. You can locate it in the side bar of the blog and employ an image or anchor text to identify it. Your authority score will go up as more people list you on their Favorites list, and in turn your rankings go up too.

In his work the Poor Richard’s Almanac, Benjamin Franklin states ‘Drive thy business or it will drive thee’. True to these words every business opportunity was born in individual minds either on the coffee table or a bathtub at home. Then it was conceived and given shape after extensive research and discussion with family or other business associates. Thus many successful businesses were born as home businesses and then went on to become successful business establishment by using the basic skills developed while being run as home business.

Reality can be different

Many feel that people who run home business can have flexible work timings and can sleep a little longer. But on the side people can also work very hard get up early and spend quality time concentrating on promoting their business. The office ethic and discipline followed at any other business is also followed here and this is one reason why such home businesses are successful.

The urge for success

A successful home business should also be motivated with a strong urge for success. A well motivated and driven individual can prove himself to be the best from his business codes and ethics. He will definitely have the urge to show this society that his criteria’s regarding business really works and he can very well take his initial home based business to several stages with his hard work and motive. It is in the belief of his drive which makes him contribute a unique business from his part to the world.

This drive or desire naturally makes one flexible so that he can compromise all sort of entertainment and fully get involved with their goal as they mostly empty their entire savings and investments into their home business. But all efforts and hard work really gains its fruit of success. He is all bent to prove to the world his worth and making his dream come true by all means. His creative visualization materializes when the hard work, punctuality and sincerity are accomplished.

Stick to the point

A really self driven home business holder always strictly sticks to the point of his long or short term goal and proceed in its path slow but steady. He also never regrets useful hints extractable from already successful persons and role models. It is very much necessary to build a strong basement and reputation for the business initially and this is possible only with the involvement of its owner. A business man with a home based business will always realizes all these factors and proceeds patiently with confidence to attain his ultimate goal.

The basic fact is that it is the owner who decides the success of his home business. It is his attitude, level of hard work and flexibility that takes him to either heights of success. Most of all his willingness to sacrifice and the wisdom he experiences on the way will defiantly establish a positive response and become the imperative factors that might lead him to success. Thus establishing a good discipline from the start with the burning desire to achieve the goal or his vision is the driving factor for an ensured success.

Domains are very precious assets. So precious and so profitable that some players out there are pouring millions for just one domain name in order to make even more money out of it. These kinds of people understand the true value of online assets. They also understand that just having the domain is not enough and they have to invest and put work on it to make it profitable.

However there are other people who already possess these domains that can turn them very rich and don’t even know it. They either don’t understand the internet or think the most money they can make out of their 7 figure domains is parking them to make some dollars everyday.

What is considered a prime domain? A single word domain that is no longer than 7 or 8 characters and that represents something valuable in the world today or something commonly used, and that can easily be profitable with just enough imagination.

Here are the top 30 domains that are wasted to the purest form imaginable. PageRank and Alexa are also used in the analysis. It is true that neither of them really represent real traffic levels, but when the domains have both a PageRank of 0 and an Alexa of 5 million, we can safely say that their servers won’t crash anytime soon.

I’m sure a lot of these parked domains are making a lot of money just standing there, and their value will grow over the years as well, but the money they could possibly make if developed is incomparable. Here is the list in no specific order.

1) Cool.com
PageRank: Unranked
Alexa: Over 350,000
This domain is simply parked.

2) Hot.com
A single page with nothing on it except a lame colored logo. The sky is the limit for a domain like this.

3) Porn.com
PageRank: Unranked
Alexa: Unranked
This one is parked too but has a cool design. I’m guessing it’s making decent money, but no where near what a domain of this weight can bring in. Any regular developed porn site attached to this domain could make the profits hit the roof.

4) Sexy.com
After being presented with a warning page of enter or exit, the only thing you see next is a parked page.

5) Alien.com / 6) Ufo.com
These two can be put in the same category. With all the talk about aliens and ufo’s, these domains can be instant success.
Instead, Alien.com is a 404 page!!
And Ufo.com just a parked page.

7) Toy.com
PageRank: 0
Alexa: Over 3 million
An amazing 3 letter domain! Yet just another parked page.

8 ) Pal.com
Some sort of weird and unpopular search engine. Another great 3 letter domain put to waste.

9) Queen.com
Parked

10) Oral.com
Parked

11) Crazy.com
Parked. Could easily be used to feature all sorts of crazy videos or stories.

12) Pro.com
Wow! What can I say. A 403 forbidden! Some people would do anything just to have the word pro in front of another word in their domains, like proplayer or propoker…This person has the 3 letter by itself, and doing nothing!

13) Cash.com
PageRank: Unranked
Alexa: Over 2 million
Just parked.

14) Card.com
Parked for some credit cards. Could be used for a gambling site or a developed credit card site.

15) Super.com
Parked

16) Store.com
This thing could be something similar to eBay or Amazon, but it is just parked.

17) Cloth.com / 18) Clothing.com
Each of them could be the central location for anything related to clothing, but just parked.

19) Personal.com
A great domain for a dating site or personal resource information site, but parked.

20) Join.com
Parked

21) Fight.com
PageRank:1
Alexa: Over 1 million
Anything about boxing and UFC and mixed martial arts can be discussed here and it would easily be the #1 reference on the subject.

22) Gamble.com
PageRank: 3
Alexa: Over 8 million
Parked

23) Home.com / 24) House.com
One of them parked, the other one slightly developed. In the mortgage world, these domains can make more profit than anything else.
